one week!!!

congratulations! you have found my blog. i can't believe i leave in ONE WEEK. that is crazy. as most of you probably know i have been feeling some anxiety about this trip, but i think that it is slowly decreasing. however, i am still really nervous! i have never been away for this long before. but i am so thankful for this opportunity i have! please pray that i would have a peace about everything and not allow myself to dwell in negative thoughts.

thanks everyone!!

oh yeah, i am going to say right now that i am a terrible speller, so sorry in advance for all spelling (and grammer) errors.

Dwell on how you'll be with friends, and how happy they'll be to see you. Beware italian men esp. in the summer though.

Corri!

SO glad that you will have the chance to walk the wide lands of Italia. Go knowing that Christ is with you.

Take time to read through the book of Romans while in Rome, taking note that the Christians there were the first to read Paul's great letter. Pack some great books along too.

We will miss you, but are grateful that now we get to check in on your exploits in Europe.

Blessings to you!

Hey Cori!!
I'm so completely looking forward to reading about your time in Rome and seeing the beautiful pictures that you are bound to take (and draw, maybe???)! You'll be in my prayers for this next semester while you are away from all of us.

what's this?! I have to twist your arm to get you to start up a blog, and then I'm like one of the last ones to see it b/c I finally see it on your xanga? I don't think that's how it's supposed to work girl! hahaha (jk, you know that)

I am soo glad you started this. I'm still gonna write you that letter before you go. Can't wait to spend New Year's Eve with ya before you go!

Enjoy your time here at home before you leave. Ask God for peace, so you can live in the moment and enjoy this time without being anxious for your trip. I'm praying for ya!

oh, and it may be helpful to allow anonymour comments for those who don't want to set up a blog to comment. I think you can always delete unwanted comments.

Hey Cori,

I found your blogg. I know your still in the air flying to Rome, but I already miss you. All I had to do is look in your room. It looks like you'll be home anytime now to clean it up. Let us now when you know your address, or have a phone number. I wanted to remind you...when you use your card at the atm get enough cash for the month, so you have less charges for getting money out. Just a thought.
Love ya,
Mom
