there is me and sarah on a boat in ventotene...right before we jumped into the freezing water.
so...things have been pretty crazy lately. i have been trying to finish up my finals and such. only a few more days of school left. i cant wait. it seems crazy to think that i will be a senior in college. how did that happen???
we had the student show last night. it was fun, lots of people came. sarah and i had our paper room project in it. we were also supposed to have our other project in it, but due to bad planning on our part it didn't happen. that was frusterating.
i leave in 12 days.
jenelle and i had a really good time together. on easter sunday we went to church and then i took her to all the major rome sites. there was soooo many people everywhere we went. we got gelato everyday that she was here. it was so nice to see her again and hang out.

oh man cor, less than 2 weeks--seems crazy to think that you'll be home with me so soon! the time did seem to go by fairly quickly! I'm so happy you had such a great weekend with janelle! sounds fun. :-) yes, that does seem crazy to think that you're a senior in college now, pretty much! wow--where has the time gone...seems like just a few months ago that we were in high school...sorta! lol well, I love you! this weekend nate and I wanted to spend as much time outside as we could, so today we drove over to the land at Grandma and Grandpa Bitterman's and walked all around looking for good trees to bare root. :-) lol ...it was his idea, but I try my best to support his dreams! :-) and it was fun walking thru the woods...its so pretty outside today! the forcast said we were supposed to get snow tomorrow?! who knows...I hope not. k, bye
Hey Cori - Had a fun day cropping on hiking pictures from last summer. I also had a nice visit with my cousins who came to see Chrysler. Aunt Pat said she's ready for a new Blog page, so she'll be glad to see you listened. We're going to try and get together with Aunt Pat when you get home, she'd love to see your pictures. We're anxious to have you home.
Yes Cori! I'm so glad you will be coming home so soon. I can't wait to see you--your smiling face, your flowing locks, your sharp teeth... boy, it will be great. Easter was good here in Lan-caster, only it was colder than I would have personally enjoyed. Also, Easter could have had more Cori as well, that would have been more fun.
See you SOON!
-Jenn
Hi Cori! Not sure if you remember me - I'm Dar's friend from church, Michelle. So sorry, but I forgot to tell you about this before. But, if you have time, you've got to go see this site! You look through a little keyhole and will have an amazing view of St Peter's... I found directions on a website:
Located in the artistic and enigmatic Piazza dei Cavalieri di Malta....The piazza is placed on the Aventine Hill (Aventino), which is a nice tranquil place to stroll on a sunny day. To reach the keyhole, you follow Via di Santa Sabina from the Circo Massimo (Circus Maximus) past a rose garden, two attractive churches and a couple of delightful panoramic parks. One, a walled garden filled with orange trees, hosts outdoors theatre in the summer months.
Hi, Cori. I was beginning to think you got lost in the Rome Easter crowds. I check your blog daily (Mon.-Fri) to see what's happening in Rome. Your Mom is right...I am anxious to see any pictures and hear directly from your own mouth about your trip. I know you're probably very busy these last few days in Rome, but try to do as much as possible in sightseeing. You might never get back to Rome again.
Did you get to Naples at all? I watched a travel show about Naples and Pompei on Saturday afternoon. There is supposed to be 1 of the world's best museums in Naples. Lots of Roman era art. 1 marble statue is supposed to be the biggest anywhere made from 1 piece of marble. It's a bull with a lady being tied to its horns. The lady seduced a king away from his wife. The sons tied the lady on the bull as their mother watches serenely!
Hope I can get to see you upon your return.
