today is a rainy day. i just got back from my first on-cite art history class. we went to the capital museum. it was pretty cool. we looked at lots of roman ruins and ancient sculptures.
dont worry, soon i will post pictures. i will post so many pictures you won't even know what to do.
last night me, rebekah, emily, and conor discovered an amazing bakery. it is open all night and you can smell it from a block away. you walk down to it and it is just cases full of crazy pastries. and it is so cheap. yay

Hi Cori,
I am sorry that I have not written sooner!! :-(
It is great that you are getting this opportunity to study in Rome. There are so many wonderful old things to study as an art student.
I still have most of the decorations up that you girls did for me :-)!!! I am keeping then up untill after the 1st Sat of Feb. as we are having guests on that day. I LIKE TO SEE THEM AND THINK OF YOU ALL!!!!
Now I must get to work and get into my day. It takes me soooo.. long to type!!!
LOTS OF LOVE & MY BIG HUGS TOO:-)!!

mmm...Italian pastries! sounds scrumptious! :-) can I come for breakfast? man, after this cor, you'll never want to go back to Panera with me ever again! I bet that's so fun, to be walking thru the city and find all sorts of new exciting places all the time! the on-site art history class sounds fabulous! I'd love that--to be looking right at the real this I was learning about, rather than just reading about it in a text book! I hope you really enjoy your classes...they seem like a once in a lifetime sort of thing! :-) Well, my beloved corpa, I sent you a letter in the mail today...so hopefully you won't have to pay lots of money to get it! its just a regular white envelope...
nothing attractive looking. lol k, well have a great rainy day over there, my far off traveling cousin! :-) love yah bunches! gotta go! BYyEeeeee! lol ~Dar
Cori!
Mmmm! Cheap Italian pastries that you can smell down the street! Oh, man, that sounds amazing! I so wish I could be there, but I guess it's good that I'm not, because, as I have said before, if I lived in Italy with all of the pastries and Italian food, I would be fat and poor. It's been raining here, too, but not today. :-D The sun is shining, and it is getting colder outside! (A good mocha latte can fix that, though).
See you later!

hello again, I was just thinking, it has been exactly 2 weeks, today, since you left! does it seem like time has flown by? ...it does for me so far. well, i love you! good night. ~Dar
Cori,
Thank you for the continued up dates. It is pretty neat to think that technology has progressed to the place that we can keep in touch so easily.
We are all doing well, Morgan doing well in school. We got snow yesterday about 1" and school was closed.
James is doing well adjusting to his new diagnosis of Asperger's, ADHD, and reading disorders.
I keep on keeping the house going and everyone on schedule. Stay in touch, it is good hearing from you. Love to you, keep safe.
